I’ve been Diabetic for 37 years and met Brenda at the T1 Diabetic conference last year. I never knew about the Disability Tax Credit and was a bit skeptical that I would get it. I took her card and called a week later and that started the ball rolling. She asked me to get my medical records proving I was diabetic for at least the last 10 years and she did the rest. I don’t think I would have the patience to do it myself. A couple of months later I received a direct deposit from the government!
I’m buying a new guitar with the money and the rest will go to ongoing medical expenses from being diabetic and shots of ALA that should help with the neuropathy that I’ve acquired over the years. I highly recommend Brenda. She’s a hard worker and highly motivated to get you your money.
Thanks, Brenda!
Shawn, thanks for your hard work to get your medical reports from Montreal. I am glad it worked out for you. Enjoy your new guitar!
Shawn, 52 years TorontoAfter being told numerous times that I didn’t qualify for the disability benefit, I started to believe that type 1 diabetics were never going to qualify. My best friend put me in touch with Brenda (whom she had met through the hospital where she works).
Brenda made the entire application process seamless. I couldn’t be any happier with the success we had with the application and the money that I received.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting for all of us to get the money that we deserve. I’m going to use part of my money to take a nice trip to Europe and then save the rest for my future.
Melissa, it was such a pleasure working with you. The trip to Portugal sounds awesome. Glad I could help make that happen.
Melissa - 32 yrs old. EtobicokeWow! What a lady. She’s unstoppable and so skilled in delivering results. My experience with Brenda was so positive. She spent time talking to me on the phone and communicating back and forth until we had exactly everything we needed. I really appreciated her high attention to detail, leaving no stone unturned and no question unanswered.
The result was that I was approved within a few months and received a great refund. This would have never happened without Brenda. There’s no way I could have achieved that result on my own. Don’t give it a second thought, hire Brenda to do this for you! She’s worth it!
Sophie, thank you for the compliments. What a team we were as all this was done continents apart. Hopefully, we will get to meet if you find yourself back in this neck of the woods.
Sophie, 32 yrs. old Perth, Western Australia (previous resident in Ontario)I heard about Brenda and the CRM Blue Group at the Canadian Diabetes Association conference for people with Type 1 diabetes. At that point, I had heard about the disability tax credit from my accountant, but was overwhelmed by the application process and had put it off for two years. When I followed up with Brenda, she responded quickly by email, set up a phone call to tell me about the process, and made every step quick and painless. I truly could not have done it without her. I have been approved for the past three years and the next five! When I shared the application with my endocrinologist, he was wowed by Brenda’s attention to detail and has already recommended her to other patients. If you haven’t completed the process already, contact Brenda now!
Sue, it is me that should be thanking you. Dr. G. has been so supportive of my work.
Sue E., 54 yrs. old LondonI first met Brenda at the Type 1 Diabetes seminar in Toronto. When I spoke to her, Brenda gave me her card and told me to call her after listening to my story. I was certainly not disappointed when I finally did. Brenda made me feel like I was the only client she was dealing with.
Brenda worked with me to gather the information needed for the application. She put everything together for my Dr. to review and sign. She sends everything to the CRA and tracks it. Then she called to let me know I was approved and then a second call to tell me the amount of my refund.
There is not a better person to work with on a DTC application. You will not be disappointed if you decide to call Brenda and ask for assistance.
Mary-Frances, we did hit a roadblock or two didn’t we? I am so glad it worked out and you got the retroactive years you were hoping for.
Mary-Frances, 56 yrs. old OshawaI have been a Type 1 Diabetic since I was 18 months old. I was given Brenda’s information from my nurse at Southlake Hospital and contacted her right away. After a great conversation with Brenda, she assured me she would be able to help. I contacted Brenda in April of 2016 and I am a little bit of a procrastinator (which means a lot!) I have never met someone with such patience that truly cares about everyone with this unfortunate disease. Brenda guided me step by step which could not have taken more than a few hours total My doctor actually wanted to hire Brenda after seeing how organized she is! I was approved 2 months after submitting the paperwork for the full amount. For all of us T1D’s, Brenda is an angel sent from above!
Andrew, thanks for giving me a laugh with your ‘procrastinator’ comments. Better late than never :-)) I’m so glad it worked out for you.
Andrew W., 30 yrs. old Richmond Hill, ONDenise, you have been such a cheerleader for me with other T1D’s you know. I’m glad the $$ helped make a dream come true for you.
