Lifescan has changed the One Touch Verio.  The battery, in the previous version, could be charged via wall plug or USB.  I really liked that feature.  Unfortunately,  they have removed that and we are back to batteries again.  The problem with test strips errors (err2) has been significantly reduced.  However,  it still exists and occurs approximately 1 in 8 times.   I use the the One Touch mini and never have the problem with test strips.  They are a different style of test strip.  I still believe the test strips for the Verio are the problem.  I am not ready to give up on One Touch as I think they are the most accurate.
